Old Bethpage Village Restoration – 1303 Round Swamp Rd, Old Bethpage, NY 11804 (The Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a 209-acre recreated living museum village in Old Bethpage, New York. The village opened in 1970 with dozens of historic structures that had been saved from demolition by Nassau County.)

Gold Coast Mansions – The north shore of Long Island, New York, USA, in a 16-mile stretch from Great Neck to Huntington, was a favorite retreat for the rich and the famous. Many were wealthy industrialists of the Gilded Age who pioneered great industries. (Click here to view the official site.)

Martha Clara Vineyards – 6025 Sound Ave, Riverhead, NY 11901 (One of Martha Clara’s sons, Robert Entenmann, purchased a potato farm and transformed it into a thoroughbred horse farm on the North Fork of Long Island.  The neighboring potato farms began to give way to vineyards; it was just a matter of time before he would follow suit.
